Upon arrival, Chris, the owner, helped with my luggage and promptly guided me to my room, which was cozy and well-maintained. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi offered some entertainment after a long day exploring Porlock. The breakfast was a highlight, cooked to order and included a range of items. I appreciated the pre-order system for breakfast, which ensures a smooth start to the day. the guest fridge in the dining room stocked with essentials was a practical touch. I encountered an issue regarding my mini labradoodle. Although we’d booked in advance, the lack of communication regarding pet policies created an uncomfortable initial experience. This could be improved. Rose Bank provides good value for money, especially considering the friendly atmosphere and convenient location for exploring the stunning surroundings. While it’s not without its quirks, if you are seeking a balance of comfort and accessibility on a budget, this hotel is worth considering for your next getaway.
